Pitlochry High School has a catchment area that runs from Trinafour in the North West and Dalnaspidal in the north to Guay in the south. Some pupils choose to attend Pitlochry from afar afield as Blairgowrie and Aberfeldy.

The campus houses Nursery, Primary and Secondary departments. The secondary department caters for pupils up to S4 when most move on to fifth form at Breadalbane Academy, in Aberfeldy.

The cluster primary schools apart from Pitlochry itself are - Struan, Blair Atholl and Logierait.

School hours run from 8.55 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Many pupils travel to the school by bus.

There are approximately 175 pupils in the secondary school.

Interval 11.00 a.m. - 11.20 a.m.
AFTERNOON 1.25 p.m. - 3.30 p.m.
A warning bell is rung shortly before each starting time so that pupils are ready for the start of each session. The day is dividied into 8 periods, each of 40 minutes

REGISTRATION

Pupils are placed in Form Classes, each of which has its own Form/Registration teacher. Registration takes place during the first 5 minutes of each morning and afternoon session, when pupils report directly to their Registration room.
